As a contractor on Turing’s AI training and benchmarking projects, your daily responsibilities blend high-level software engineering with rigorous analytical evaluation:

• Code Authoring & Optimization: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, high-quality code used to train and optimize advanced AI models.
• Model Benchmarking (Evals): Conduct rigorous evaluations to test model performance across diverse programming paradigms and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Response Ranking & Curation: Evaluate and rank AI-generated code responses to user queries, ensuring strict alignment with functional correctness, readability, and security standards.
• Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT): Lead initiatives in SFT by creating and maintaining pristine, task-specific datasets that teach models proper syntax and logic.
• RLHF Collaboration: Partner with researchers to execute Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback, refining reward models and complex reasoning loops.
• Peer Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough peer reviews of code and documentation, providing constructive feedback and identifying subtle logical errors.

Engagement Details & Commitment Options

This engagement is structured as a flexible contractor assignment (no medical benefits or paid leave included). To accommodate diverse schedules, Turing provides three commitment tiers:

• Option 1: 20 hours per week (at least 4 hours per day)
