Valley of the Peaks 1000 Piece Puzzle

About this item

You can feel a particular stillness to a mountain lake on a clear morning, when the peaks mirror themselves in turquoise water and the meadow at the edge is riotous with bloom. Kim Smith renders that moment with warmth and precision — a grizzly and her two cubs padding through fireweed and columbine, towering pines anchoring a sky crossed by Steller's jays and Canada geese, marmots tucked quietly into the rocks below. Every corner of this illustration rewards looking: the light on the snowfields, the small surprises hiding in the foliage, the way the whole scene hums with life without ever feeling crowded. Assembling this 1000-piece puzzle is an act of slow, deliberate pleasure — working color field to color field, discovering each creature as it comes together, moving through the composition the way you might move through a forest: unhurried, attentive. Printed on sustainably sourced greyboard with virtually no puzzle dust, it's designed for the kind of afternoon that stretches comfortably toward evening.
