Three Chamber Bat House – Premium Cedar Bat Box (Brown)

About this item

Three-Chamber Brown Cedar Bat Habitat — MTBC-Certified, Holds 200 Bats Handcrafted from weather-resistant cedar in a warm brown finish, this MTBC-certified habitat holds up to 200 bats across three chambers — enough depth for a stable maternity colony, and a finish matched to regions with hot summers. Three chambers, up to 200 bats. The interior replicates the tight crevices bats choose in the wild, with the depth a maternity colony needs to raise young together rather than crowding a single space. Matched to hot summers. The brown finish suits regions averaging 85–95 °F, holding interior temperatures inside the 80–104 °F band bats need. Natural cedar reflects more heat for hotter regions; black retains more for cooler ones. Certified by Merlin Tuttle's Bat Conservation. MTBC certification means the chamber dimensions, venting and finish were assessed against what bats actually occupy — not assumed. Built to weather. Cedar resists rot without chemical treatment and stands up to rain, snow, sun and wind. The sloped roof sheds water and the grooved interior gives bats grip while allowing airflow. Triple-chamber layout sized for colony roosting Grooved interior for grip and ventilation Sloped roof keeps rain out Stainless steel mounting hardware included Six-step install — mount 15 ft or higher on a building or pole, never on a tree Honest about timing. Bats scout new roosts in spring and take their time. Some habitats fill in the first season, others in the second. Height, sun hours and distance to water matter more than anything else you control.
