Nivala Tufted Modular Sofa with Removable Backrest

About this item

Nivala brings a more adaptable approach to the modern modular sofa. The featured four-piece layout forms a spacious L-shaped sectional, while each generously proportioned module can be rearranged as your room or seating needs change. Armrests can be installed on either side or removed, and the detachable backrests allow individual pieces to become armless seats, ottomans, or chaise extensions for more relaxed lounging. Deep tufted seat cushions and 5.9-inch black iron legs give the sofa its distinctive retro-modern character, balancing a substantial cushioned form with a lighter, elevated profile. Soft suedette upholstery adds a smooth, suede-like texture, while high-resiliency foam and polyester microfiber create a medium-firm feel that remains supportive for conversation, reading, and everyday relaxation. Integrated metal connectors help keep the modules aligned and secure once the preferred arrangement is in place. Beneath the upholstery, kiln-dried hardwood frames with webbing and sinuous spring suspension provide dependable support for daily use. The sofa foam has been tested by SGS with no detectable PFAS, and the included throw pillows use polyester microfiber filling certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for added reassurance during close, everyday contact.
