Muc-Off Nano Chain Campagnolo RECORD Chain (CMCH0113260) - Nano Treated

About this item

We are now offering an exclusive personal service where you can purchase a Shimano, Campagnolo or SRAM chain, hand treated with a unique Speed Film Lubrication; Nanotube Chain Optimisation. Our Nanotube Speed Film is an all-weather treatment, so riding in wet or muddy conditions is no problem. The groundbreaking formula contains Nanotube additives to make it incredibly fast, but still retains the proven all-weather repellency of Muc-Off’s Hydrodynamic Lube. Unlike other speed optimized chains where a dry wax is used lasting 200 miles or less, the Muc-Off Nanotube Chain Optimisation will benefit you for 400+ miles in dry conditions and 250+ miles in wet and muddy conditions with no severe performance drop off (as happens with dry waxes after a far shorter period). With power savings of over 10 watts*, Nanotube Speed Film treated chains are delivered to you at their optimum performance level. Each chain is painstakingly speed graded and run-in under load during which data is taken to find its optimum. Next it’s sonic cleaned in several formulas and hand treated with the Nanotube formula, then nanotube particles are applied. It’s now finally ready for track, triathlon, road or MTB competition straight out of the box. This is perfect for you if you have a major race or event coming up. A top up bottle of the Nanotube Optimised Chain Lube is also available, allowing the re-treatment of the chain for many more miles of ultimate speed! It won't be as fast as the original treatment as we use a special technique to ensure the formula is driven deep into each link for 100% coverage, but you can still achieve significant savings within 1-2 watts of your chain’s original optimum. As these chains are hand treated, please allow a 2-3 week lead time. *Against Ceramic Speed's Shimano Dura-Ace UFO Chain over a race distance on our dynamometer. All weather lubricant. Contains nanotube additives. Ride 400+ miles of pure speed. Provides power savings of up to 6 watts. Perfect for track, triathlon, road & mountain biking. Chain length: 116 links The Story This Speed Film lubrication was developed specifically for Sir Bradley Wiggins’ Hour Record and uses the world’s most advanced additives to give you unrivaled friction reducing technology. It was also used by Bridie O’Donnell in her hour record. The equipment used to prove that the Muc-Off program can save real world rider watts, is called The Chain Lube Optimization Dynamometer – C.L.O.D. Designed and built in house by Muc-Off, the device can test any lubricant and chain combination to provide detailed quantitative data on efficiency and durability. This new, state of the art formula and treatment process pushes the boundaries of chain lube innovation and is designed specifically to keep friction to an absolute bare minimum.
