Technology has officially entered the magic act, and it has opinions. HACKED at Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce inside Mandalay Bay puts illusionist Keelan Leyser in the same room with L.I.L.A., a live AI with an unmistakable 1980s attitude, and Navitron, believed to be the first humanoid robot to perform magic on the Las Vegas Strip. The result is a tech-fueled mix of magic, mentalism and mind reading that keeps asking one very Vegas question: is that actually possible? L.I.L.A. has been reading the room since you walked in, while Navitron adds a decidedly futuristic twist to the tricks. Leyser ties it all together with illusions and mind-bending demonstrations that blur the line between human skill, artificial intelligence and good old-fashioned deception. At Forty Deuce, the setting is already a little unconventional, so a magic show featuring an AI and a robot feels right at home.
